Our renowned CEO 7" Mid-Woofer is assembled on the MONITOR Collection on account of its very high quality as result of its polipropilene cone treated with two ceramic layers at both sides which reduces distortion dramatically.
It is structured with aluminum voice coil, a silicon rubber surrounding it and special central dome corrector, working like an acoustic driver, giving better sound coherency, the smallest colorations in midrange and the appreciated No Directivity. The extra magnet outside the magnetic structure increases 2 db the total efficiency and its dynamic resolution. The phase corrector Tweeter Device reduces notably total distortion and extend trebles up to 38 Kilohertz. It uses a liquid magnetic ferrofluid to diminish resonance and helps to improve its final power admission. The box is a fine cabinet made with best quality MDF -density particle wood-. Its pattern was the conclusion after meticulous listening sessions: so that the mid treble sound reach ears listener when he/she is sit down.
Speakers are fixed very near (almost touching each other) to prevent directivity, so, in every spatial point of the room, sound is full and clear.
The cabinet is a Bass Reflex design, and its tube port is placed at back.
Basalt wool is placed inside it. Outside, you can see our exclusive Diffraction Acoustic Corrector, constituted by a special drawing foam around the tweeter and mid speaker, achieving a total coherent and "holographic" sound. Specially at the critical mid zone, the X-Over is extremely important in our design. Because of this we use a 6db/octave with Phase/Impedance Corrector included on it, so that is possible to obtain the best, near to perfection in phase, frequency, dynamic and transients(3kHzfreq.x-over)
It is made with 400 Volts polipropilene HWG capacitors and internal connections are worked with HWG OFC cables in bass and plated for trebles.
